Glorious Sunny Vancouver on the Harbour

Now in Vancouver, we spent yesterday afternoon and today exploring the city mostly by foot.

A wonderful city on a sunny weekend however when we wandered off the tourist path between Gastown and Chinatown we found this market set up and frequented by Vancouver's abundant population of homeless people. Much like New Zealand's equivalent of a boot sale, it reminded us of the sad contrast in societies that can still live in the same neighbourhood.

Today's Blip could easily have been a beautiful photo of a glorious sunny Vancouver skyline with a stunning harbour as a foreground and picturesque snow covered mountains up the back.

But that's what Blip is all about - isn't it?
