A Visit to "my" beach

A more leisurely day today, starting with pancakes for breakie.  

We enjoyed the morning at home, some cricket, soccer and netball - just as well we have a big lawn.  After lunch we went to the Library and came home with a great selection (I doubt that there will be time to read all)
....a little detour to the local beach (not a swimming beach) for some cliff climbing, stone throwing, walking through the tracks in the barley paddock and much more.  So many nice pictures but have chosen this one as they had such fun making stepping stones to the surf - simple pleasures.

At the end of the day, Ella makes a short Power Point of her day.  She has a good wee Canon point and shoot that she uses (nana's gift) or takes one or two of mine, writes a story about each image then emails it to her mum and dad. Cool kid, smart kid!!!
