White-fronted Tern/Tara/Sterna striata

Endemic, breeds in NZ.

Very hard to capture image of with my wee camera. Very happy with this image. There were three or four fishing close to where Mother and I were sitting in the car enjoying our daily coffee. They are very quick and communicate with lyrical mewing sounds.
