Pirunkuru @ Ylläs

Pirunkuru is finnish meaning the Devils couloir. However the place is not so bad as the name suggest and we decided to put todays effort to check the place out and do few powder skiing laps at the couloir and the forest under/around it.

First round we climbed up using our skins but soon found out that after that it is easier to bootback uphill as the trail was pretty hard and there were few spots we had some difficulties with skins. The snow was pretty good on the way down btw :)

Here Mr.M and Mr.I are having small brake while climbing. You can also see the lower parts of the Mt. Kellostapuli at the backround.
