The kids long term pester power finally came to fruition today and Evie bought Lola the hamster with her own pocket money savings. Amusingly it escaped and ate its way out of its temporary box within 10 minutes. We had an escaped hamster on the loose in the car! Calling it Houdini was wasted on them...
