WET

Is the only word that will describe todays walk.
I decided to go deep into the woods where i havent been for a while and i was amazed by the amount of trees that have fallen, i lost count at 17. So sad but im not surprised as the ground is saturated!
Paths were ponds, paths had disappeared into the river, new rivers made through the grass.
Very wet!
I saw these leaves on this a fallen tree and they reminded me of fossils i have seen in stones.
Home now, we dried off and are now listening to the rain hammer down on the conservatory roof... Were we really out in that Sprout!?yes mum and it was great fun!
