Good reads
These are apparently the 160 ish best books ever for teenagers and take up a few square feet of a wall in my classroom. The bottom left book cover disappeared temporarily which was mildly amusing given its name. I'm working my way through them slowly. I loved Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. Ransom Riggs, the author, is an avid collector of old photographs and created the idea for the novel around them. It's great.
First day back was okay. 11s lovely; 10s bubbly; 7s irritating; 10s less bubbly than earlier in the day and I marked 15 books. All in all a productive Monday.
Staying positive is all in the mind isn't it!?
Tea minus real chips which is a bit disappointing...
