Traveling Through Bradford!

On our way back from my step-daughters father in laws funeral which was in a town near Sheffield we came through Bradford. This is a quick blip of the Alhambra Theatre on the left and the old Odeon Theatre on the right.

The Alhambra Theatre has 1,400 seats and the panto "Aladdin" is on at the moment. They have lots of entertainment there including ballet, comedy, musicals and drama.

The old Odeon building was once called the Gaumont and there used to be 1200 seats in one part of the pictures and 467 in the other. When it was the Gaumont they used to have a lot of famous acts including Buddy Holly and Bill Haley and the Comets. Last year the owners sold the building to the Council for £1 and it is in the process of being renovated.

Ted, me and Humbug love going to Bradford but we didn't have time to stop today.
