Miles of Memories

On another dark, dreary day I was relieved to arrive home from work to find a parcel containing 'Carlyle Adventures 2013' which I could blip. This year's cover photo is one of our Jen's from her visit to Ghana last year. She was invited to visit the workers' co-operative Kaupa Kokoo which produces fairtrade chocolate from local producers. Jen is also a member of the workers' cooperative Suma so this was a chance to see the journey of some of their products from the planting to the harvesting and her photo is of the discarded cocoa pods. At the time (last January) Jenny was the buyer for chocolate and ice cream.....nice job!
