Busy Saturday

We had a very busy day today. First of all we took a trip into Glasgow to buy me some new winter clothes. Before shopping, we went for a bit of a walk. This photo was taken in St Nicholas' Garden, behind Provands Lordship, which is the oldest house in Glasgow. We had lunch in Tinderbox in Merchant City. I had a pasta salad. I fell asleep after that so I missed the actual shopping. That's the best way to do it I reckon.

Once we had my things we headed to Kirkintilloch to go swimming. Mum and Dad wanted to try out the pool there and compare it to Cumbernauld. Mum and Dad will remember it as the place where I showed that I can walk properly for the first time. We had to wait a little while before we could get in as the pool was closed, and I walked back and forward across the foyer. I can take lots of steps, turn around and when I lose my balance I can easily get back on to my feet by myself. I say "up" and then stand up. Eventually I did get a bit bored and wanted to crawl or lie on the floor.

Here are a couple of videos of me walking.

When Dad tried to make me stand and said "up", I said "down" so he knew I didn't want to. This is something I have learnt this week, that down is the opposite to up.

Even though the changing rooms at Kirkintilloch have heated floors, we decided we prefer the Tryst.

Auntie Katie and Uncle Scott are coming round this evening, but I don't think I'll be up long after my busy day.
