Ruthven Barracks - Kingussie - Cairngorm NP

A location I visit twice a year for almost a decade. For the past two years this Jacobite Barracks has had scaffolding for structural restoration. Restoration work was complete on my return and on that summer's evening the light was soft warm and gentle. Normally a haven for the Scottish Midge due to near by marsh land but a gentle breeze keep them at bay.
