Telepathy?

AND there it was .... gone.
It must be less than 72hrs, maybe 48, that I was remarking to Gaffer that "I can see that tree become an embarrassment in the not too distant future". (2-3 owners ago the then owner planted the kids' Christmas tree).
It has already been topped, decided it wasn't over keen on THAT idea, and just carried on "Uppards".

This a.m. while breakfasting we spotted a couple of, totally unmarked, vans parked at his back gate. (Just off-stage Rt.) They must have been a distraction, at least until we left that room.

It was mid-afternoon, whilst "leaping and cavorting" on the Wii that I spotted the disappearance: so successful there weren't even visible needles/sawdust.
Unless, of course, it happened another day and we only saw it today.

Wetness note:- 24hrs -> 08:00 = 1" wet.
The next 12 hrs -> now = a further 0.75" wet.
