Habe die Ehre!
Farewell!
Luckily January 6th is a public holiday in Bavaria, as yesterday's estimation of my physical condition today was all too accurate: I had a bad hangover. So I had a lay-in and met up with Laura, Jen and Thom at noon. It was also Jen's and Thom's last day in Munich, as their flight was leaving in the afternoon. We decided to spend the remaining time to show our English guests the Olympic Park.
The blip was taken on top of the Olympic Hill in the park with the Olympic Tower overseeing the scene. I think it depicts the farewell situation rather fittingly.
Lessons learned by receiving guests from the British Isles: Brits don't go a single day without mentioning the war. When not talking about the war, their most popular matter of conversation is sex. It is hardly surprising that the English language knows more than 100 words for female genitalia. English speakers are also much more resourceful, as adding an -ed to a random noun apparently generates a new word for being completely drunk.
I may have to pay a visit to the lovely island of Little Britain to double-check these facts.
