Hoover Dam

Left Las Vegas early to head back to Flagstaff with the car.

Stopped off here at the Hoover Dam. Very interesting tour of the generator plant... as a to be converted Science Teacher, this was right up tops on my interests!

Potty they didn't have enough guides so we could actually go on the boat but hey ho.

Made our way back to Flagstaff and had dinner back at the diner waiting for our train.

Went to the station and found out our overnight train was delayed. So we went and found a coffee bar, had a hot chocolate and as the barman was closing up he brought a pint of Californian Stout over to us, pulled up a chair had a chat.

People in Flagstaff are lovely friendly people. We will be going back!

Eventually got on the train at 12.45am 3 hours late.
