Feeding frenzy

Today was a brief respite from the gales and lashing rain and at one point, there was a decent patch of blue in the sky. It was great to see the return of the siskins to the feeders, great feisty wee birds fighting with the goldfinches to get on the feeder, along with the chaffinches and house sparrows.

Late afternoon, produced 3 buzzards displaying over the garden and a flypast from a white tailed eagle. Bad weather coming back I hear
