A damn fine day...

...started off with a lie in til 8am, quick breakfast and then off for a long walk with Pete. Was cold and frosty first thing which made for a lovely walk. Walked down through colliers, then through Moorgreen Wood, to Felley Mill where I finally met up with mrs Kirk and Albert.

As we waited to meet them, Pete was tempted with the water here, but still wouldn't go in. And I was in the precarious position lead in one hand, camera in the other and on a bridge!

Back home, nearly out 4 hours. Watched the rest of the reds hammer the hammers! Then prepared Sunday roast, which I devoured after visiting mrs Betteridge who turned 40 today!
