Ava & Obi

My sister-in-law, Claire, came over today with her 7 year old daughter Ava. We haven't seen them since my other sister-in-laws wedding a few months ago so it was good to have a catch up.

What was also really nice was seeing Ava playing so well with Obi. Most of my friends who have been over recently have toddlers and although Obi is initially curious of them, they're mostly all at the pulling tail stage so he quickly runs away. But Ava was really good with him and they played for ages. Perhaps he'll now decide kids aren't so bad after all! As for our other 3 cats - they hid upstairs the whole time and only emerged after Claire & Ava had left!
