Swim 3: at Scorching Bay
I figured that if I'm to give sea swimming a decent crack, I'd better ditch the (aging) amateurish surfie look, and buy a proper ocean wetsuit.
A good decision, as the water was very cold today. The colour of the water was green, like the green of limes, leavened by orange kelp floating just below the surface. I swam for 30 minutes, feeling as sleek as a seal, and came out fresh and clear-headed.
