Half way home

These three trees mark the half way point for me on my drive home from work. For years I have used them as a measure. The sight of the trees also helps to kick me out of any driving coma I might be feeling by this point in the trip.

I've adopted these trees as my own...but haven't told the farmer who tends the land. He's seen me stop to take photos in the past and we've waved, but I feel our relationship hasn't advanced to a level warranting full blown conversation yet. Perhaps one of these days. As my skills progress, I hope to post better photos of my trees, too.
