The telephonist

If ever you find yourself in Katikati I can recommend you to visit the local museum. The young fella here has spent many many hours in London's Natural history museum and Te Papa in wellington and jokingly said as we approached that it it's not up to that standard words will be said. Well after the 6 of us had an hour and a halfs guided tour for $22 and were invited to touch any of the exhibits , told a bounty of stories, his words were of praise for these enthusiasts.
And of interest, this phone exchange was in use until the 80's in Katikati.
