Thunder Lightning & bad drivers !

Yes this is what we woke up to this morning....

A bit of careless parking results in traffic using the verge outside our house - yuck !

But there is not a lot I can do. I have contacted the Highways authority numerous times about parking here and we can't get nothing done. The police don't want to know as more often than not it is their vehicles that are parked here. So there are advantages & disadvantages to living near the town.
Commuters park & run from here most days, not caring about any mayhem they might be causing behind them.

I know that I have asked u about parking outside my house on numerous occasions but you always say there is nothing you can do.
Today Walton Dene is again blocked outside my house & so residents are using the verge instead of the road to get through. Surely this can't be allowed to go on. Picture attached.
