Dog among the cats!

I "won" this poodle on Christmas day when we were in Texas visiting G- much hilarity after dinner choosing a mystery wrapped gift but I had drawn ticket 16 (there were a lot of us at G and M's friends' house!) so I was left with this rather hideous dog and was persuaded not to leave it behind. The 3 cats have sat happily by my bedside lamp for many years, probably presents from my boys when they were much younger, so they now have a friend - not that they look too pleased about it.
There was a short lasting burst of sunshine in the bedroom this morning so I moved them along the shelf into the sunshine for this blip.
