The Old Bridge

This bridge used to be on the main road from London to Carlisle, long before the days of motorways.
Standing on the new bridge we had a glimpse of flooding in the county. This area is often flooded during the winter months. Compared with other parts of the country we are extremely lucky with the weather in the Midlands.
