Morning has broken
I'd taken lovely sunrise shots out of our bedroom window for the last two mornings and then ended up blipping something else, so last night I took the camera upstairs so it was handy this morning. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite as impressive as on Sunday as there were more clouds, but it was still colourful and there were plenty of birds flying around. I just hope our neighbours haven't been watching me as that's three mornings in a row that I've been hanging out of the window in my PJ's!
After breakfast I took Louis to the park and then dropped him off at the dog groomer's while I went to the French group. It's the first session after Christmas and there weren't that many of us, but it was nice to catch up and then we all went to the local cafe where I had my usual hot chocolate. This time though I was very good and had it without cream, as I'm trying to avoid those added calories!
Then I picked Louis up who looks and smells lovely and clean, and is now fast asleep on the sofa. I'm really pleased, because he's always hated going to be groomed, and in the six years we were in Belgium whenever I took him, he would hide behind my legs shaking. But this morning he ran up the steps to her house wagging his tail, and was obviously very happy to be there. She's lovely with him though and he gets on with her dog which is great!
Thanks for putting yesterday's blip on the spotlight. It's still very windy today, but after tomorrow it's supposed to be calming down for a few days, so fingers crossed!
