High and Dry

Another shot from my lunchtime walks. Walking along the canal back towards Leighton Buzzard and the river which runs alongside it, the river Ouzel, is running high with all the flood water.
The Environment Agency were out today measuring the height and speed of flow of the river and had parked their vehicle in the field close by.
The canal water was also running high. So high in fact that it had burst it's banks in several places and was spilling over the towpath!
