Dart Torrent

I took a trip to the moor this morning and parked at New Bridge. I walked up the east side, through the woods to Horseshoe Falls, which is a favourite walk. There was a lot of water coming down of course so I didn't risk any of the lower viewpoints.

This is a wild swimming place and there's a rope to swing on just in front of this point but no-one was using it today. Some kayakers did come through and seemed to be having the time of their life from the whooping that was going on as they came past.

It's not been a day free from rain. There was a little downpour soon after I took this shot but it's been a much drier day here. I hope it has been for you too.
