Roots

They say that the roots beneath the tree are often as big as the tree above the earth!
This morning, I cleaned up the pine needles out of the car. Thousands of them!
In the afternoon, I went for a walk to Aden Park with the dogs. I took this photograph of this tree. It's not too easy taking photographs when you are carrying a camera, a bag (don't ask) and have two dogs pulling on leads!
An area has been set aside at Aden for allotments and we have decided to take one on. It is ten metres by ten metres and will have a small shed and a water butt.
I decided to spend some time today on our allotment and did a little bit of spade work and a lot more chatting!
I am managing to keep my New Years Resolutions but have added another one. I really like a glass or two of wine or beer at night but the experts say you should have two alcohol free days a week so that is my target. It was on the radio yesterday that you are more likely to keep targets/resolutions if you share them with others so ....
(That still leaves five days for ....)
