Light at the end of the tunnel

I had to pop into Guildford this afternoon. One of the many things I like about the Hindhead Tunnel is the sign at the end when it's raining outside that reminds you to put your windscreen wipers back on. Surprisingly though, after this morning's deluges, there was no need for that message on either leg of my journey today.
