Fornication.....

....is derived from the word Fornix. The Fornix was the arched area in front of The Roman Forum, frequented by prostitutes, hence fornication. The Fornix of the Hippocampus is an arched area under the corpus callosum in the brain. I learned this today because Mrs Scobes is listening to an on-line tutorial which has just explained these links.

Owen is showing interest too; he's studying the Romans at school and is working on his project this afternoon. He's busily scribbling notes.....I think I'd better check what he's written!

Me?, I've been for a walk in the sunshine and now I'm reading the Sunday papers and getting slightly annoyed about the Conservatives telling us that we need to be more socially inclusive....pah!...how deliciously ironic to hear the Tories lecturing us about the need for Society......from the party whose leader once said, "They're casting their problem on society. And, you know, there is no such thing as society".......grrrrr, what do these toffee nosed arseholes know about society?
