Threekings-day

During advent one plays in parts of North Netherlands on the Midwinter Horn. Today during threekings -day (6 januari) for the last time, afterwards the homemade horns stored away until the next advent. This ' afbloazen ' (last blow) was held at the heathland area 'Renderklippen' near the sheepfold. There were several groups horn-players, who take turns on the Midwinter Horn played, but always with 1 blower at the same time. The beautiful sound was carried by the environment.
