The tradition pilgrimage to Bradford-on-Avon on Boxing day found the river in spate, a day after the shops in the background of this shot were inundated with floodwaters. I was a little disappointed to miss the peak level, but that said it was interesting to watch huge logs and tress float downstream as the were dislodged from the bridge to alleviate stress on it.

A most enjoyable meal at Granny and Grandpa's house in the afternoon. Nothing quite like left over turkey and cranberry sauce.
