Say 'cheese'!
Yesterday I woke up fine, ready to go back to work. When the alarm went off this morning, my first, unguarded thought was 'wot, again?' Yep, I'm now back at work...
The day job was fine - some small irksome things but generally ok. I decided early on I wanted to try a portrait today. None of my colleagues volunteered so I hit the streets at lunchtime. I saw a truly beautiful woman and asked her if I could take her picture. She said yes, but only if she liked it. I took two pretty good shots but she was adamant that she didn't like them and asked me to delete them right there in front of her. That was weird.
This happy chappy, called Alin from Spain, was laid back about having his picture taken. I thought he had a lovely smile and he seemed happy with the shot. It's been a while since I approached strangers for a photo and I felt very much out of practice.
When I got back home, I saw that some neighbours were having a bonfire of old Christmas trees on the beech, so Dr T and I grabbed our wreath and joined in.
Happy Tuesday, blippers.
