Circle of life

Despite all the maons about the weather, here we have this year's new growth coming to life - well some daffodils are pushing therir heads above the ground. I hadn't expected to see these at this time, but I guess the weather has been more wet than cold and autumn wasn't that cold either.

I also need to convince myself that it is too wet to begin weeding, as this blip makes me want to go out and pull up the ones that are there. I wonder how the flowers will survive in the colder weather that is sure to come.
