Beauty is in the eye of the photographer

I have no idea what kind of flower this is and my internet search has been fruitless. This came in a beautiful bouquet I received as a gift from Mr iswhatitis for our 2nd wedding anniversary. I spent ages taking photos of all the beautiful flowers which where mostly pinks and purples but I found this one to be the most striking of the bunch and even more so when taken in simple black and white.
