Climbing Girl!
We did (very) early morning bowling. Carys won the first game and William won the best of the second. Shame on the adults.
We then nipped downstairs as Carys was booked on the indoor climbing wall. She had hung her nose over it last time and I thought she would enjoy it, and she did. She managed to get to the top of two of the four walls, I am quite sure that if she had had some instruction on what to do with her legs she would have made it to the top of the third. The spacing on the fourth may just have been too much for her.
After a coffee and a quick run around in the soft play we headed home for lunch. It was then decided that Mummy and children would head back to the pool, while Daddy rested. So we did just that. Of the three hours that we spent in the pool I would say the majority was spent on the rapids and I have the bruises to prove it! They did give me a little break and agreed to play in Venture Cove while I had a coffee, but then it was back to the rapids. I have some lovely memories of sliding down those rapids with Carys behind me and William hanging on to my legs.
They got out without a fuss, because they knew we would be back tomorrow. Took them home to shower and change, then it was out for dinner. We had untypically poor service, which when Jim mentioned it, got us a discount on the cost of the meal. Another easy bedtime with both going to sleep in the same room at the same time without a fuss.
