Mercat de la Boqueria

Fitted loads in today starting at the beautiful Art Nouveau Hospital de la Creu i Sant Pau, designed by the Catalan modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. It was designated a World Heritage site in the 90's but there was no-one around when we visited, I think they were all queuing to get into Sagrada Familia.

It was well worth the walk, we had a personal guided tour, before heading down to La Rambla and Mercat de la Boqueria, where this blip was taken. We had a wander round and stayed for a tapas and beer lunch.

This afternoon we visited La Catedral which dates back to 1298 - that's old.
