Another wet day!

Just for a change the weather was pouring rain and strong winds.

After a morning of pottering about continuing de-cluttering, I couldn't think of any indoor emergency blips. I looked out of the window and IT WASN'T raining.

Quick! Make a dash out and try for some outdoor shots! Grab the camera, coat and out into the car. Head for the hills! Half a mile up the road and it's pouring down again. Stop at the place I had planned in my mind thinking there would be a view of the fells. Fells? What fells? Just a blank wall of grey in the middle distance.

So on to another possible view point. Very similar condition shot perhaps a little better. Get out and try for a shot or two. Not a chance the rain was driving straight on to the lens.

The result is turn round back to the weather and make do with some shots of the trees on the skyline. Not the most interesting trees in the world but they will have to do.
