Absent

I have been absent from blip since the start of January as I came down with flu on the 2nd and spent the next four days in bed. Yesterday saw no sign of improvement so instead of getting back to work I went to the doctors and got antibiotics for my crackly chest. The worst part is the constant cough that has seen me only able to sleep in an upright position all week. I did have three blissful hours of lying down sleep this morning though so fingers crossed for tonight.

In other news, I passed my first uni assignment, so I'm really pleased about that. Freya is sitting her prelims and Carlos heads down south for work again tomorrow, at least I'm beginning to feel like I'm on the mend though so hopefully fine by the weekend.
