A55 North Wales Expressway

This road stretches from Chester through to Holyhead in Anglesey.

It is an example of superb engineering, overcoming some extremely difficult terrain, passing under rivers, through mountains and the middle of at least one busy town.

The original budget (in 1999) was £101m to date over £700m has been spent!
