Realisation

Getting home from work I suddenly realised a couple of things. First of all I'd not got out on a lunchtime walk as the weather was so foul - therefore no photo for the 365 Challenge! Second, it occurred to me as I walked past a pile of my books just how much study material I currently have (more than when I was at school). Trying to improve my appalling French language skills, I'm reading up on some basic art history in readiness for a visit to the Louvre and I'm also re-visiting my photography books in the hope of producing at least a handful of half decent pics during the coming year.

Scratting around for photo ideas I then realised that I could make a pic from aforementioned study books and make use of a strobe unit that I purchased a couple of years ago and never really got round to using.

So, here we have a study in depth of field manipulation and strobe lighting using some of my study books as a subject.
