Flowers from Work

Today was a pretty average day at work - lots to do and some pretty complex issues to solve but keeps me young (!)

The end of the day was pretty awesome though as all of a sudden there was a "gathering" around my desk and I didn't know the reason for it but the team had bought some gorgeous flowers with a lovely card wishing Steve and I congratulations on our engagement.

I am incredibly lucky sometimes to work with such lovely and amazing people. I really like my job.

I am quite overwhelmed with how brilliant being engaged seems to be - people are so happy for us and we are incredibly happy. This was all quite unexpected for me so everyday something else happens that just surprises me and makes me smile.

In other news Steve and I are back on the 5:2 and it's been tough at points but the day is almost over and tomorrow I will enjoy a lovely bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes or toast for breakfast!
