Separation anxiety

Today was an exciting day in our family. Today was the day the wee man met his Great Grandma Rani (GGma). He wasn't entirely sure what to make of her hospital bed but he soon settled down as his toys came out. It was lovely to see Rani's face light up as she doted over our wee boy.

With cousin Ori staying with Gooma, Uncle AJ and Aunty Michelle were able to make good progress packing ahead of their big move. Being childless for the evening they kindly offered to put the wee man to bed, allowing Nikki, Grandma and I to pop out for a quick meal. Thanks guys!

It's taken the wee man almost a year to exhibit any serious separation anxiety, and I'm not sure if it has anything to do with all the new people he's met in Australia, but he's certainly pinning more and more after his mum. I never realised quite how exhausting it must be for a mother.
