Night Sky

The dry, mild night and lack of earlier Blip inspiration drew me out into the garden tonight.

I was initially looking to get a star trail, but soon realised that there was far too much cloud cover and perhaps too much light pollution to give a good result. Instead, I decided to play around with light painting again.

Once again this image is actually two shots combined, as the cloud cover was variable - the best sky was in a different shot to the best ground, so by the magic of Photoshop and layer masks the two came together. Otherwise the image is straight out of camera, no processing whatsoever.
