My home for the next four days

Rona 2. One of the Rona Sailing Project's training ships which we have been able to charter for four days through a friend of mine.

I have never sailed before, other than a couple of holiday trips many years ago in a mirror dingy, so this has been an experience I have been looking forward to for some weeks now.

The plan is to sail accross the channel from the Hamble to France. Not sure where yet as the final decision, depending on forecasts etc is down to the skipper.

Nice looking boat though. Lots of sails!
