Daylight Storm

Finally!!!! After many a storm out the front of my place and many times of setting up my tripod and camera on my rooftop deck trying to snap a few bolts of lightning, I capture these beauties. This is the view from my apartment's roof top deck, Have I mentioned how much I like living here. We watched BOM all day to see when and if we were going to get hit by the massive storm everyone was talking about and I had all my "ducks lined up in a row" so to speak so I would be ready to capture at least one bolt of ligntning. The Bridge you can see is the Ted Smout Memorial bridge which constructed to facilitate the traffic that used to use the old hornibrook bridge which was pulled down when it became too dangerous for even the fisherman to use.
