A Rotten Friend

Looks like Mr Silent Death-Spike, our class pet, has suffered over the Christmas break. I think I watered him too heavily before the holiday, mainly because someone knocked him off the desk, smashing his pot and scattering soil across the floor. The perp complained that the soil was so dry, I explained that cacti like dry soil...but then felt negligent and had to do something. So I accidentally killed him.
