Out to Mt York

On the way to Tarana to a conifer nursery with Trisharooni we called out to Mt York, which was the area where the fires started all those weeks ago. The area is still quite black and brown, but, in just a short time, many of the tree trunks are covered all over with a green fuzz of new growth, and the bush floor is dotted with emerald green tips.

Was a productive and enjoyable afternoon, and then tonight off to see the Hobbit with Tom. I entertained him with my jumping around, particularly in the spider sections.
