New Years Resolution

This little munchkin is my beautiful neice Annabelle, and she is my first ever blip. She is adorable and funny and I just love her to bits.

My boyfriend Damian started blipping sometime last year and I thought it was a fantastic idea, vowing to begin on the 1st of January 2014, and take a photo a day for the entire year. I have always loved the ability of photographs to capture moments that would otherwise go forgotten.

Today, however, is not the 1st of January... On the first of January I was in Rio De Janeiro celebrating the New Year in style and my blip resolution was a vague memory in the back of my mind! Since then we finished our trip, made the 40 hour journey home, suffered through jet lag and here I am, on the 8th of January, finally getting down to business!

I have also decided that back blipping for the duration of our five week adventure in South America would be a fun and creative way to share our experiences and write a travel journal of sorts, so I'll chip away at that over the next week or so.
