A-track-ted to sleepers

The rain came on eventually but it was a nice sunny morning for the most part, so a chance to take a walk in the Botanic Gardens.
There was talk a few years ago of doing up the derelict railway station in the park and turning it into a nightclub, a plan that met with fury from the good citizens of the area.
Here is the view from the bridge looking down to where the tracks used to run. It seems a shame that so many old railway lines closed and were effectively left to rot.
Still, a bit of Glasgow history.
