Gone and Forgotten

There is a block of antique shops adjacent to the building I work in. They're all in various states of disarray. This picture is in the alley between the back of the shops and my work building.

While always fun to look through, going through the shops can also be a bit depressing. All these things people held on to for so long up for sale. Did the owner pass away, did the owner come upon hard times, did this item in the shop bring up memories the owner would rather forget?

It tells me to hold close to the things I cherish - and to cherish the things that matter.
